Kenia is of small stature but she's filled with both serious power + personality. Massage became the obvious answer while seeking a career path that was fulfilling on both sides of the bar. Hailing from Michigan, she graduated in 2012, giving her the 9 years of an integrated approach to massage therapy.

With this title in hand, Kenia uses several different modalities to address a variety of concerns and her passion for therapeutic assessment, injury prevention + personalized treatment shows with every session.

Katie loves her work and puts her heart into every massage! She gives deep pressure massage that still feels relaxing. Katie's specialty is digging into stubborn shoulder/neck tension, as well as the low back/hip/glute area.

She starts with gentle warm-up strokes and gradually increases to a deep, sustained pressure. She wants to see you move towards a pain-free existence and will always make recommendations on how to care for your muscles between sessions while easing the body into a deep state of relaxation, leaving you feeling lighter + looser.

PHILLIP, LMT

Phillip, a life long athlete, grew up in West Texas and developed a passion for receiving a variety of body work to help with his work and sport related body aches. This is what started Phillip’s journey and passion early on for regular massage, a holistic focused health approach and for the benefits of self care.

Since completing his professional Massage education here in Austin at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School & Clinic, Phillip has focused on helping his clients get to the root of their problems and aiding their recovery with his own unique blend of techniques. He is especially adept at working with clients that deal with many posture related issues including neck and lower back pain. He especially enjoys working with athletes and clients who push their bodies to the limits, as his massage tends to provide much needed relief to their bodies, and a much needed break to their nervous systems.

Chris is from New England where he was raised outdoors. He has always had a disposition rooted in healing that came in many forms. A B.A in Organismal Biology began a journey into his understanding of the human body and all of the relationships it has with the natural world.

The birth of his son in 2019 was the catalyst for a focused intent on healing through therapeutic bodywork. Deep compassion and a respect for family, nature and spirituality led Chris to Lomi Lomi; a sacred Hawaiian healing art form. Whether it’s deep tissue, trigger point therapy, or myofascial work, Lomi Lomi is interwoven into every massage activating the parasympathetic nervous system and creating space for therapeutic deep work to take place.

RY, LMT

Ry is a graduate of the Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage. As a former professional musician, he understands the toll repetitive motions can take on one’s body and aims to help clients with all of the pain and discomfort they may be experiencing. Ry loves to work slowly and intentionally with firm and consistent pressure- softening muscle fibers, releasing tense fascia, and stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system.

Above all else, Ry cares deeply about creating a communicative, nurturing, and safe environment for his clients. He believes that the best therapeutic work happens when clients can feel completely relaxed and secure and goes the extra mile to achieve this.

Aaron, LMT

A native of Houston, TX, Aaron moved to Austin in 2005 to attend UT Austin for Mechanical Engineering and pursue a career as a professional musician. He started to gain interest in massage therapy in 2018, when he would frequent The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School to help with discomfort associated with drumming, rock climbing, and running. In May 2021, Aaron decided to attend the 500 hour massage program at TLC Massage School, and graduated in October 2021. He has been practicing massage therapy ever since, and specializes in Swedish and Deep Tissue, among others. He has an intuitive and empathetic approach to healing the body, and believes that clear communication allows him to better reach the client’s goals throughout the session.

JP O'DOWD

JP O’Dowd is a skilled massage therapist with a foundation from The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and advanced practice at Form + Function. Specializing in deep tissue and myofascial release, JP’s techniques facilitate change and promote overall well-being.

His expertise encompasses a variety of modalities, including Lomi Lomi, Swedish, mobilization, and deep massage. With a personal background in sports, JP understands the unique needs of athletes such as weightlifters, runners, and cyclists, making him adept at aiding recovery and enhancing performance.

As a dedicated massage therapist having moved from Taiwan I am excited to share my skills here in Austin.  I specialize in sports therapy and deep tissue massage, cupping, and strech, blending Eastern and Western techniques to deliver a personalized and therapetic massage.

Melissa moved to Austin after graduating from Shepherd University with a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation. Having grown up near the hectic Washington D.C. area, I appreciate a place where tension is viewed as a hindrance rather than the norm.

It is my mission to provide therapeutic massage to all who enter our doors, we communicate our approach and treatments, and offer the most highly skilled therapists.
